This political battle in andhra(should i call AP?? ) is really bothering me from past few weeks.
I like hyderabad. i used to hate it when i moved back from banglore.. but slowly i got a hang of it..
Hyderabad.. hmmm yes delicious biryani(i'm a veggi.. even that tastes good) ,Its culture etc amazing..
my home town is in costal andhra . Now suddenly i became an alien in my own state.
I hate KCR for starting this regional thing out. I mean i'm not against his separatism etc,but the way he talks makes my blood boil. when you are a politician you should watch your language. who is he to give us protection?? we are indians and we can live at any place... its not their whim and wish! we are not living on his mercy??
my maid from telangana hardly knows this, other day she was asking me "is there a bandh tommorow" i said i'm not sure.. she was worried that her sons who goes to city to work cannot go ,this bandh makes situation worse for them..those who call for a bandh shoud pay to these innocent people.

Its been 6 weeks sisnce baby is born . Let me tell you its not that hard but its not easy..
first thing i got most is advices. everyone from my maid to stranger in streets are giving tips on what to eat ,how to hold the baby etc..
i welcomed some advices and got scared of some advices.
1.Diet: this is the most favourite topic of advices. I did some experimenting with my diet as i have to loose some pounds.
Ghee: my mom's favourite ,she insisted that i have to eat loads of ghee.. as she did the same. But with my doctors brainwash(i took help of my doctor) she finally left it. Its always better to limit intake of fattty items. No fry's very less oil
Vegetables: again here my mom kept some restriction, its quite surprising to see opinons on the veggeis are quite contridictory. What ever my mom suggest's my mother -in -law say's that shud not be eaten and vice versa. So finally i took the call. Ate almost all vegetables ,ofcouse not too spicy and with less oil. So my advice is eat all vegetables.
water: many people adviced me not to drink much water. I ignored this completely. My doctor suggested to drink plenty of water as it boosts breastfeeding ,and helps in fighting against infections etc. It worked well. My tip is drink a large glass of warm water as soon as you get up (after brushing your teeth.. ) .This helps in reducing post pregnancy tummy. I looked 6 months pregnant after delivery,i had a c-section. now after 6 weeks i feel som eof that tummy is reduced. But its still there.. any tips on how to reduce it??

Long long time ago i blogged..
Bit busy these days... or nothing to update.... or scorching summer.... i can put blame on any of these things for not visiting my blog. :)
what all i did past days...I had a hair cut... its been a year since i got one... yeah my hair don't grow that doesn't bother me.. what bothers me is the volume of my hair ,its so thin ,on top of it it falls more .. luckily i have curly hair.. so it appears as if my hair is of normal volume
sometimes i feel that i may go bald someday. Some one suggested take zinc /folic acid /iron etc... but nothing showed a big impact on my hair.
My mom used to day take A&D capsules etc.. but i didn't find much useful.
But i do try constantly new tips and apply new oils etc.. though i know its of vein

didn't feel like blogging these day's. Same set of people and same incidents. I got a feeling of tired. I feel like i need a break from this ,may be i should plan a vacation.
'Recession' word i'm hearing most. Onething i liked abt this is atleast it brought down land prices(not fully though) . with election fever catching up and barely days to go (everywhere party banners, and all netas giving lot of boons to people. it seems this election slogan is "free free ,everything is free" . I 'm keen on casting my vote this time. I didn't had chance last time as i'm out of country. whom shall i vote? I didn't find any leader to look up to. but surely i will vote this time.

From last week everywhere in new channels.. only news that is constantly shown is on satyam . For those who are unaware of it. This is how the story goes..
last week satyam CEO mr Ramalinga raju resigned to his post stating that the balance sheet of the company is manipulated and shows fictitious assets and does not shows liabilities.
then storm hit the markets.. share price dropped and full media roaring about it.
Media is powerful. Till last week, media described him as a legend and all political parties had good ties with him. Noe all of sudden he became a villan ,and no political party want to mention his name.
I don't support mr. Raju for making up the balance sheet and for that fraud. But i don't know i'm feeling sorry for him , His rise is tremendous and fall is dramatic. i do sympathy on the employees of satyam (around 50k employees). I wish the latest board of directors will drive the company well and will remove the insecurity from the heads of employees.
Usually our team goes to lunch together. So routine conversations follow. We had this following conversation. Mr. S is recently engaged; His fiancé is still studying her bachelors in medicine, and is very intelligent (he confessed)
Mr S: I told her that I will allow her to study PG if it's in the same city only. This is one condition. (Hmmm what do you mean by allow?)
I asked: what does she want?
Mr S: she wants to study, but she likes me so much that she is OK with this.
I can imagine how much freedom she might be having and why would anyone will say wholeheartedly say no to PG course (Imagine how much effort she might have put to get a Rank in entrance test for getting seat in medicine), just to marry this guy who is setting terms and conditions before getting married. Anyway it's his personal thing!
Another colleague said he had an argument his wife on cleaning house. He strongly believes that those are the duties of women. I asked why... Answer I got is -- my mom and my sister does the same. In our families (what families...) guys don't do anything. (At least you do eating right idiot).
Marriage is not a hostile merger or a takeover to
Come with terms and conditions and negotiations. I used to think getting educated changes things and their perspectives. Now I understand one thing, getting educated and being a professional does not change anything. Of course this does not apply to all men; there are many sensitive and caring persons Right!

It was bit difficult to go to work after taking 1 long week off. luckily as our onshore counterparts are still out of office ,so left home by 5. While going purchased a tickets of a new Telugu movie 'sasirekha parinayam' (meaning 'marriage of sasirekha' ) . That movie was a story about a girl who is forced to marry a NRI without actually meeting and was informed just before the day of marriage.while watching the movie i suddenly realized that i'm actually crying in some scenes especially the scenes where bride-grooms father humiliate brides father at the time of marriage. I could feel tears in my eyes. That same scene happened in our house at the time of my sisters marriage. When that guys family members his two sister who were married and his mom and Dad made my parents run like anything thru out the marriage demanding many things that were not asked in the before talks. My Dad helplessly dancing to their every whim and wish. My mother though suffering with arthritis made to climb four stairs many times in pretext of calling them and listening to that guys sisters stupid requests.
After marriage also them made a big fuss that things were not done properly and even pointed to my sister on her first day there. Poor girl almost ended up in tears .
I know this might be the problem faced by all the brides and their families. Is having a daughter a sin?
